The owners explaination is just excuses and lies since the company is still in operation since this was originally written more than 5 years ago and the phone lines are still NOT"working" since no one answers any calls after weeks of attempts and no calls are ever returned after numerous messsages left to do so. I challenge you as the owner to call me back....but you won't because this company is a theif.

I purchased over $100 worth of tobacco products as anniversary gift for my husband It never shipped The Toll free number is a fake, no contact for tobacco general or refund o explainationof where a package that was shipped supposedly fedex from Ill. to MI is Eight days later or why fedex has no record of shipment ! Save yourself time money and patience DO NOT BUY FROM TOBACCO GENERAL TELL EVERYONE AND ANYONE YOU KNOW I KNOW I WILL

First of all I would like to personally apologize to the customer in this case for all of the inconveniences this may have caused.
1. We get our incense from the manufacturer and when they package it, it weights exactly 4 grams or more. As we all know, any plant that has leaves (herbals) contains water that tends to dry out over time. That water carries most of the weight. So if the pack was 3 grams instead of 4, that's because the incense has dried out a bit and not because we shortened our customer on purpose.
2. 4 gram pack for herbal incense costs $9.99 on Tobacco General. If you do the math it comes down to $2.49 per gram or $4.99 for two grams. So the value of the missing weight was NOT $15 as stated by the customer, it is $4.99 (HUGE DIFFERENCE)
3. Our Phone system was experiencing issues at the time and got upgraded. You can call us at any time, if the representatives are busy, you can leave a voicemail and someone is guaranteed to return your call!
4. I am not sure which email address was used when the customer tried to contact us, but we reply to all emails that are sent to us and would never ignore such an issue, so please make sure the email address is correct [email protected]
