Another Sucker
Taipei,#2Consumer Suggestion

My wife and I are in the same boat so to speak. We hired Tober to ship our personal belongings to Taiwan back in September 2008. They took our things, and our money and quickly went out of business. We have no idea where our things are and we received the following email this morning. If anyone else out there is caught up in this, contact the FMC. NOW! There is a special place in He!! for these low lives! Hopefully there is also one in jail. We apologize for not responding to you sooner. We really didn't have much new information. We were unable to legally do anything until the courts granted us the right of possession. However, we are now doing everything we can to reunite owners with their goods, assuming that those goods remain in the warehouse. While I really feel badly about the situation in which you and others who did business withTober find yourselves, I must tell you that, with few exceptions, the condition of the warehouse and the items remaining therein are not good; many boxes have been opened and appear to be ransacked. Precious few items are labeled and are therefore not identifiable to us. We have calledTober's lawyers seeking information on the items left in the warehouse or lists of moving/trucking companies and customers so that we can attempt to reach out owners of the goods, however, it is uncertain as to whether we will get a response. The owners of the company are Yonathan Benheim and Steven Schneider (FMC will receive contact info for them later today), but I do not know who would have been in and out of the facility prior to our gaining legal possession. We did not personally encounter anyone we could name (we will be forwarding a package to FMC that includes all parties we are suing for their role (however small) in the operation ofTober Logistics, perhaps this will be of some help to you). The fact is that Tober could have given keys to anyone, and they would have a presumed legal right of access. Now that we have possession, the locks have been changed and we control who has access. We have documented the condition of the warehouse with photographs to protect ourselves, but again it is heartbreaking. Perhaps reporting criminal theft of goods with local authorities might help, but we do not definitively know what has been taken. While I know nothing of how this process will work, you may need to file a police report in order to have the insurance company address your claim. With respect to the Insurance Certificate, I do not recommend posting it on a websitethere may be false claimants that delay the processing of legitimate claims. My recommendation is for FMC to dole out the information as people come forward seeking relief. You may make reference to an insurance policy on thewebsite and direct individual to contact FMC so that the names can be collected and processed. We have not yet located any of your items specifically. As I stated earlier, we were granted possession less than 2 days ago and could not do more than inspect the premises without interfering with items in the warehouse. You will at some point in the next two weeks (we will create an access schedule) need to send someone to look for and/or retrieve your goods. We are still working on the logistics of this, but there will be a fee associated with this process. The warehouse is 42,000 sq ft and is nearly 20% fullthis will be no small task. We are working with FMC and hope to reunite as many people as possible with goods in the warehouse. However, we are on a tight schedule because we need torelet the space in order to cover our expenses; as of today, we must clear the space by March 16th. Please feel free to contact me by email or phone regarding any of the above issues. Regards,
