Todaysescapes unauthorized charges to a credit card. Internet
I made a purchase online. The Rep asked if I wanted to subscribe to a sort of benefits package. I said no that I only wanted the item I called to purchase.
About 3 weeks ago I received the ordered item and my card was charged for it.
Yesterday I found a charge of $19.95 on my statement. I called the company after finding them on the internet and complained. They said they would cancel all future charges but could not return the first charge as we had 7 days to cancel. How can you cancel when you don't know about it until it is charged?
I filed a report with my bank re unauthorized charges. They have returned the money and changed my card number as I don't trust that company not to charge further.
