Tom Farrage Architect Runs a Cruel Sweatshop with Illegal Aliens Culver City California
I quite liked Tom when i started to work for him.
However, the gloss wore off fast once i realized how he operates.
Within a few days after starting work, he asked me to go and fix up one of his properties in the Palmsprings area, which was thrashed by a familymember who ran a methlab from there.
After he dropped me and a few illegal immigrants at the house, and left, i realized that i have no blankets, no bed, no hot water, no heating.
And when the paycheck came, we only got paid for the hours worked, not one penny for the 5hours drive, or the 6 hours worked beyond the normal 8.
He pays bi-weekly, and every Friday he would disappear and let us all wait for hours to get our pay.The other workers assured me that he does much worse to them than that, since they are illegal, and cannot go to the authorities.The final Friday i worked, i asked him to please pay me at 5pm, since i have another job starting at 7pm, and i need every minute to transverse LAs traffic.
However,as usual, he left, and did not return at 5pm.
I started calling him, and when he eventually answered, he started to abuse me, and tell me he is at a party at Matchbox Studios, with important people.
Since it is only a few blocks away, i suggested that i come there to pick up my check.
He declined,and furious and drunk, came back to his factory to pay me.
He then refuse to pay me untill i sign a document that states that i am an independent contractor, even though i was employed as a fulltime worker. (turns out he does it to everyone in order to not pay taxes/medical/unemployment benefits/workmans compensation or any paid holidays)
I signed the letter, and as soon as he gave me the check,(only half of what he owed me) i told him that im resigning, and will show the document i signed to the authorities.
He then hit me in the face, and tried to grab the document from my hand. a scuffle ensued, with him pummeling me ,untill he got the document back.
All the workers watched, too scared to interfere.
I am willing to testify in a court of law as to his Illegal activities.....
Hiring illegal aliens, physical and verbal abuse of workers, as well as his "creative" cooking of the books.
I dont know how these types of criminals live with their conscience, yet, as for Tom Farrage, i know this: Every Dollar Squeezed from Stepping on others, bring him far more pleasure than making it Honestly, with Dignity and Respect for Others.

Over the past 20 years, I've used Tom Farrage for many jobs. I've never had any issues with Tom or his employees. His company has always performed their jobs on time and on budget, and always with full respect. I've had contact with many of his employees and found them all talented and respectful. I highly doubt the claims from an ex employee.
