Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I signed up for coaching and I was told I could try it to see if it was for me which my coach finally called me after 2 weeks of paying the fee.   It wasn't for me and called to cancel and left two emails and they continued to charge me for no services provided.  I even put a stop payment and they used a different merchant name to get around the stop payment which worked for them and got paid for no services rendered.   They are a rip off.    Realtors beware!!!   The coaching isn't anything they hype it up to be either.     DO NOT USE TOM FERRY FOR COACHING

AVOID THEIR "COACHING PROGRAM" AT ALL COSTS!!

The Tom Ferry Your Coach company is the prime example of a company that makes its money off of a bait and switch offer. AVOID THEIR "COACHING PROGRAM" AT ALL COSTS!!

The Tom Ferry Your Coach organization preys on unsuspecting real estate agents by offering a money back guarantee that they sell in one way, but their written contract (in very, very small print) says something completely different. There are 3 requirements of the money back guarantee. 1.) Attend 2 Tom Ferry events, 2.) Attend your scheduled coaching calls, and, the big one, 3.) close less than 3 deals. On stage, the speakers convince people who would normally not sign up, to part ways with their money by saying things like: "if you do not close 3 additional deals...", or "we guarantee you will close 3 additional deals...", or "if you closed 20 deals last year, we expect you to close 23...", and all of these end with "...if not, then your money back, GUARANTEED!"(I have lots of proof of this)

HOWEVER, the very fine print buried in the contract states that as soon as the signer of the contract closes 3 real estate transactions during the one year course of the "coaching", that the money back guarantee is null and void. You see the problem here? Many agents close more than 3 deals anyways. The Tom Ferry Your Coach organization knows this as well. They PREY on real estate agents in this manner, knowing that they will always have a "weasel clause" way out of giving people their money back. And it doesn't even matter where your deals came from. If you close those deals, they claim it was because of their coaching. No wonder his organizations numbers are so high. They claim to have been instrumental in deals they had nothing to do with.

AGAIN, they sell it one way knowing full well that their contract says different.  DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM!!

Furthermore, Mr. Tom Ferry himself is aware of this practice and will avoid anyone wishing to discuss it. He will even lie to your face while shaking your hand. I again know this first hand because that is what he did to me. This past year, at the Tom Ferry Summit event at Mandalay Bay in August of 2016, I tried to speak to Mr. Ferry regarding this situation. At the very end of the last day of the event, I waited in the auditorium for almost 2 hours. There was a very long line to see Tom, and after the line dwindled down, I jumped on the end. There was just one person behind me. As we waited, I discovered she too wanted to discuss the same topic with Tom.

When I got to Tom he immediately started shaking my hand. I told him who I was and what office I worked for. I then asked him if he had heard of my situation and he said he had not. He told me that I should have called him. I informed him that I had tried to contact him numerous times, but he never returned my calls. He asked to double check the number I had for him and he confirmed it was correct. (I already knew this as we had texted back and forth in February of 2016) His directions were then: "Text me on Monday. Not Saturday or Sunday because Kath and I will be decompressing, but on Monday. Text me and we will discuss this and get to the bottom of it immediately. BUT you have to text me!!"

I told him I would and we parted ways. This entire time, he was shaking my hand and looking me in the eyes, making promises he never intended to keep.  The girl behind me ended up just being pushed through because Tome "had to leave", but she confronted me, told me she heard everything and would like to hear how it goes. She and I exchanged emails to do this. Unfortunately, the email to her was easy to write because NOTHING EVER HAPPENED!!  I sent Tom over 25 text messages over the next month and left numerous voicemails. I never heard a peep back...not from Tom or anyone else in the organization. WHY? Because they know its a scam and they just hoped I, as most people do, would just sluff it off.

The facts are this: 1.) the Tome Ferry Your Coach is defrauding its clients using a bait and switch sales tactic in regards to its supposed "Money back guarantee." 2.) Tom Ferry himself knows of the issue, he avoids discussing it at all costs, and Tom Ferry is a liar...even when he is looking you in the eye.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!! If you do more than 3 deals a year already, then there is no money back guarantee for you. And it doesn't matter where the deals come from.

I am posting this review because I hope that noone else is taken advantage or treated as I have been by the Tom Ferry organization.

I can go on and on about how the coaches employed by Tom Ferry really don't offer the same level of substance and coaching that Tom Ferry promotes at his seminars. They are far from it and this is therefore very deceiving and misleading. I did coaching for a year and tried 2 different coaches who both ended up just having conversations with me instead of doing their job and offering me new tools, ideas, and coaching so that I could improve my business. All for 2 calls and $499 which at one point became 4 calls and $999 per month. I did not make any additional sales as a result of the coaching and I did everything I was told to do.

Long story short, even though I did not agree to another 12 month contract, Tom Ferry's organization has unreasonably charged my credit card without my authorization and demanded that I pay for another 12 month contract. After doing everything I could to try to work it out with the organization ( I even wrote Tom Ferry with the intentions of trying to work this out and never got any response from him), I have had to hire an attorney to resolve this issue as it has been made evidently clear that their only concern is making money and is not helping people, which is what Tom Ferry presents and promotes.

I would strongly recommend AGAINST doing any business with Tom Ferry and his organization. Furthermore, if you have had an experience similar to mine, please send me a message and contact me as I am finding that there are many more of us out there that have been taken advantage of. I don't wish anyone else to be deceived and taken advantage of like this.

My name is George L. Rosario. I am Senior Managing Partner of the Rosario Shalomayev Group with Coldwell Banker Kueber. My partner Lev Shalomayev and I are strong believers in training and education. We work closely with Tom Ferry and his coaches. I have to tell you that the system works, if you stop making excuses and actually do what you are told to do.

Some people simply aren't coachable. Some people think that coaching is some kind of magic pill that instantly transforms you from nobody to superstar without any effort on your part. Some people pay for training and coaching, and then go on to continue doing what they always did (waste time watching TV, playing games, gossiping on facebook and other social media sites, etc). These same people then blame their coach for not making them superstars.

I have been very successful for years. To many who know me, I had no need for a coach or any extra training. I didn't see it like that. So I went on to look for more training and found Tom. We've become great friends and I have to tell you, his system does work. My team is proof of this.

So for anyone that wants to know if the Tom Ferry program really works, I suggest you give it a real go. Statistics show that more than half of the people who get a real estate license quit the business within the first year. Is it because it is impossible to make money with this license? Of course not! It's because this business, like all businesses and trades is not right for everyone. Most of those that fail in the real estate industry approach it thinking that the license is a magic pill that will make them rich in a couple of days.

Find your passion and you will not need Tom Ferry, Darryl Davis, Coach Michael Burt, Steve Harney, or any other real estate coach to fail you. Still, I would suggest you find a coach you can work with because guess what, Tom Ferry, Darryl Davis, Coach Michael Burt, Steve Harney and all the coaches I have come to know have coaches of their own that they turn to for training and advice. Unless you know it all, you should always seek to associate yourself with someone who knows more than you do.
