My husband was seen at toothfixer dental for an annual exam. I scheduled the appointment and was very clear when I asked for the services fully covered under our insurance. He was seen for an exam, x-rays and general cleaning. They did not even complete a cleaning but, we were billed for a Debridement not covered by insurance and certainly not performed on my husband.

I have called the office to have this error fixed and they say they will talk to Dr. Mohsinuddin and call but never do and refuse to acknowledge that there may be some error. I hope this is not standard practice at their offices but, I am not sticking around to find out. I am paying the bill for the sake of my own credit but, I am angry that I have to pay for services that were not received. I would advise against using this dentist unless you have money to throw around.

Chad Felton was seen at our office on 12/1/05 for a new patient exam. He had had not been to a dentist in over 1 1/2/yrs. Our periodontal evaluation of his gums were that they were inflamed and had some deep pockets. My recommendation was to do a full mouth debridement, which is a diagnostic cleaning, that removes all plaque and tartat build-up. Mrs. Felton feels that he did not receive a cleaing, in actualality he did, and needs to follow-up w/ a polishing, if the gums have responded well. We should not let Insurance companies dictate treatment, we felt this is what Chad needed to get better oral health. Unfortunately, they're insurance did not pay for this type of service. I would have been glad to credit their account of the balance. We had returned her phone calls in an appropriate manner. We treat all of our patient with utmost care but sometimes isues like this arise and it's very sad that something like this arises. We wish all the best to the Feltens in future dental visits.
