Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Was approached by a representative who claimed to be able to fully side my entire house, and guaranteed me that "he would make sure that the insurance company " approved of it.  After approval of only part of the house by insurance, was told I had to make up the rest of the money.

After an inquiry, was told that the siding that was originally presented to me and matched my current siding, was unavailable, but other products were available.

Told the owner that I was told I could have what I requested.  Representative was sent out, again, with new samples that still did not match.  He became beligerent in my kitchen and yelled at me "You are unresonable,,Lady"

Just before christmas, 2009, was called and threatened that if I did not sign the contract to complete the work, I would be sued.  Said I would be happy to work with them if they provided me with the product I requested.  In addition, it was winter and that I would be glad to work with them in the spring.

Was contacted in the spring and tried to set up several appointments to meet with them.  Continually company missed appointments, one because of sick child at home.

Said I was still willing to work with them, if they would work with me.  A few months later, was sent a threatening letter from their "attorney" suggesting that I would be sued if I did not comply with their contract.

Lastly, went to court and just to get rid of them, had to pay in excess of 1,500 for absolutely nothing but trouble.

This company. in my own opinion, was not looking out for the consumer, but, for themselves.   In this economy, who walks away from a 17,000 job to collect money for no work done whatsoever.

I to have had the same thing happen to me from this company. I've been in the construction field for 31 years. And I have never seen such disrespect towards homeowners.DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING this company wants you to sign.we had hail damage in our area and this rat company preyed on many homeowners. I've spoken to some homeowners who had there roof done by them and three of them had roof leaks within 2 weeks.they do not know what there doing. I was a roofer for 18 years and am proud to say I have never had a roof leak what so ever. I take pride in treating the homeowners with respect. And doing a top notch job done right the first time.  top to bottom construction gives trades a bad name. Please pass the word.   These vultures are a disgrace...

#3REBUTTAL Individual responds

Thu, April 14, 2011

In response and rebuttal to this customer's claim, I never guaranteed this customer, or any other customers, that the insurance company would replace their entire house's siding.  I always say that I will try to get the insurance company to replace it if possible, taking into consideration the amount of damage to the siding.

The insurance company only bought the siding and not the facia or gutters, I explained this to the customer exactly what the insurance company bought and what they declined.

All of the siding samples which I showed this customer, were the best we had to offer, but she chose a sample material that we use to compare, which is inferior to what we have to offer.  I explained this to the customer but she insisted she wanted the inferior sample and that she wanted the facia and gutters included.  I explained again that the facia and gutters were not bought by the insurance company, but we would be happy to replace it if she wanted to assume the extra costs.  She not only would not pay for the extra costs but insisted on the inferior product sample for the siding.

I explained, once again, that the sample product  wasn't available and that I would have to look for it .  In time I found it and showed it to her but she still  insisted she wanted the entire house replaced, including the facia and gutters.

During all of this time, we made several attempts to make appointments with her or to meet with her to make the necessary decisions.  Each time she made various excuses why she was not able to keep the appointments and we would attempt to reschedule.

The case was eventually brought to court and the judge agreed with us and she had to pay a $1,500.00 fine proving that she was unreasonable and wrong in her demands .
