The past few months I have invested a foolish amount of time and money on trading card apps by Topps including Star Wars Card Trader, Kick, Bunt, and Huddle. In the search to grow my brand, Club 66, an app based tcg auction community from its roots based in Konami's Star Wars Force Collection I found these and was immediately interested as a lifelong collector of sports and entertainment memorabilia, some of which are Topps products. It didn't take long for a sense of panic to take hold as these cards are "limited" and the value isn't easy to gauge until it peaks and the demands are met. On one so called "marathon" set I was misinformed on how or what was needed to recieve the award card. An extra card variant was issued for purchasing a$9.99 credit bundle within a specified time and date including a time zone of ET. I accurately made this purchase and didn't receive the promised variant card. When ZenDesk, the automated email service for support, finally acknowledged my claim they simply denied it, marked it solved and "...Hope this clarifies things...." To which I opened a new request asking for a receipt. What I was emailed was a basic ledger of totals and times pertaining to my account. I promptly emailed them my PayPal and Google play transaction logs which show Which app, amount, time, and date proving the single irregularity they had emailed me was false. That information has still not been acknowledged from 4 months ago. Any thread in the App itself on the set is missing, and screen shots of it vanished as their user agreement allows for modification and or deletion of files on the device. Instead of a refund, card, or genuine appology, I was accused of violating terms which are not, nor have ever been outlined in policy, Tos, or UA. Besides unfounded claims, they claim to base this evidence on "unavailable information." I debated this a while and gave up as to moderate my blood pressure. A couple months later my kick and huddle accounts simultaneously recieve suspensions for suspicious trading behavior. As I tell you now, and did them it is still not a term in any agreement. No appologies, but suspensions were removed. Last week, The tip of the Ice Berg surfaces. I wake up to find my Bunt account has been condemned until 2525/01/01 00:00:00. AM or PM along with time zone remains unspecified. I have atleast a thousand dollars worth of digital baseball cards there. I was told I had "cursed" in the contest feed and totaled 3 suspensions earning a permanent ban. I began debating the original charges alomg with new. Some changed, like the suspicious trading behavior became offering madden coins to paypal to ebay to paypal and madden coins again. Turns out I flagged a scammer for offering me Fifa coins. They said paypal, because I had mentioned it in prior emails. And offering ebay is obviously (even to them) implausible. The "cursing" never occurred. You cannot use words such as fanny, n**i, bloody, poop, and especially not vulgar words in many languages and variants. I have not heard from them since saying I am tired of being harrassed with false accusations. I cannot bypass their support, and go to topps.com I reached out to Disney on the Star Wars issue and was told to give a detailed account and they'd pass it along to Lucasfilm and MLB sent me back to topps so far. I've seen alot on this run around, and resorted to taking to all social media to hopefully catch someones attention.
