Well Finally Tue,apr 15 2008 I received my fixed DVD player Toshiba looked at it finally and honored there warranty.. but the fact remains that they are still not a great company to deal with i have called a lot of times and got nowhere until i filed a complaint against this company to the better business beuro , they contacted Toshiba and right after that i received a call from a fellow from corporate headquarters.. even this guy gave me a hard time.. i was very patient because i really wanted this thing fixed.. took along time but in the end they fixed it.. buyer beware!!!
