I purchased a Toshiba Satellite in 10/2002 and by Dec it wss malfunctioning, blue screen errors etc. I sent it back 3 times for the same problems. It never was fixed. I had the extended warranty that included a 1 time replacement. I also asked for the replacement. They refused, and told me to send it back again. They ran me out of warranty, which I believe is the SOP of Toshiba. I paid $2600 for mine, and got little use of it. They also sent mine uninsured by Fedex and it was left on my front door step in OKC OK without signature. It sat there for 3 days before we noticed it, as we did not use that door [was marked, use other door]. The door that was used was totally obvious. NEVER buy Toshiba!!! Never buy the extended warranty.
