Assosiation, Online Business Assosiation, Official Small Business Association and Business Valuses Online are all connected. They are all owned by the same family and or friends of the family. Although I am ashamed to admit it, I used to be an employee there. The calls are made by scummy employees that have been hired with no experience and no knowledge of the laws. Most of them are fresh out of jail.




They call and LIE and say they are with the phone company and they need to update your FREE listing. They handle sales and customer service for all of the above mentioned companies and more.  These "companies are all one in the same. TMC has sales and customer service employees. I was in Customer Service. The product is all the same. A priority listing and a website. Only problem is that they tell you they are with the phone company and they are updating your "already existing" Free listing on the internet or phone book. They talk over the recorded verification and you have no idea that they are going to bill you on your phone bill. They actually do send you a letter after the sales represenative calls and lies to you. They wait a few days and mail it. The letter says you have a 14 day "free trial" but, by the time you actually get the letter it's too late. You have already been billed. They use a Pitney Bowes postage meter so you can't see the actual date it was mailed.  




This is an example of business owners that don't have an actual product to market. They lie and steal your hard earned money. When you call the Customer service department to "cancel service"  they are told to give you the maximum refund if you threaten to report them to the BBB, FCC, PUC  or ATTY GENERAL. I hope you get your money back. Also when the customer service represenative says they can only give you 1 month credit, the can actually give you two months. When they tell you to write a letter to the Corporate office to request further credits, you are writting to a girl who sits within 5 desks of them and her name is Khaleel Husbands.  She is authorized to give more credit.  When they play the "recorded verification" of the person who authorized the service it will play what the sales person talked over with you saying yes when they tell you to. I would rather be unemployed than work for a company that is stealing out of peoples pockets, especially now with the economy the way it is. If you can't get anywhere with Khaleel, ask for the managers. Their names are Julie, Shanta and Maurice. Their boss's name is Shay and if you get her on the phone then you know you are getting somewhere.
