I AM POSTING THIS WARNING FOR YOUR BENEFIT, get everything in writing.

2011 Toyota Rav4 listed $8,400 paid $9,400 out the door, extra fees were for their awful customer service.

Deceptive practice (to promise me a second key and then not put it on the paperwork is deceptive), threats (by a man who identified himself as the owner)  exact quote "we can do it the easy way or we can do it the other way" and stalling tactics (not answering the phone or returning my calls), a very unpleasant experience. If I had known they would treat me like this, I would never have purchased this vehicle from them. The fact that the second key is not on my paperwork is the fault of the salesman but that is not why they should honer the promise they made to me. It appears that they do not value their own promises. The owner has now told me that he will not honor his promise because I have posted this complaint, which I posted on google maps because he made a veiled threat I was talking to a manager and he interrupted me, I continued to try to make my point but he started talking over me then he stood up (he is about 6'5") and said to me "we can do this the easy way or we can do this the other way." I felt threatened we he said that and I think that was his intention. I also filed a complaint with the BBB and Toyota of America headquarters not because they told me to wait 17 days for a key but because the owner became upset and used a veiled threat against me.

Also; I paid hundreds of dollars extra for something that was listed as a "Cusomer Service fee". The salesman never warned me or tried to explain this fee to me. I thought I was only paying the sales tax and registration fee just like the many other times I bought a vehicle from a dealer.

I received the worst customer service that I can remember, no-one talks to a customer like that, especially not upper management.

The owner promised to get back to me on the 27th of August, today, and make arangments to get a key made if the previous owner did not respond.

He didn't keep his promise. Get everything in writing.
