Check the legal record. Many cases in many states reflect a pattern of employee ripoff in many and any ways possible. Problem is--they are the "Dennys" of the Publishing world; except worse. Their win-loss record in and out of court speaks for itself. And that doesn't even address what might be found in the Personnel files of the Human Resources Department.

If you happen to be employed by them--or ever consider it, make sure you document, get documents, or copy documents related to all things related to what might be valuable WHEN(not if)you get the axe (or are forced to leave).

If there was a groundswell of current and former victims who wanted to get involved in (another) class-action suit--many attorneys would be lined up to take the case; it's a no-brainer.

They already had to (by court order) transform all "independent contractors" in the State of California to employee status due to their misconduct. The list of injustices is only limited by one's imagination.

I have seen many things in many companies that I have worked for, but as far as problems here...You have to be a moroon to be fired from Trader. The report about CA is way off---Trader hired the private contractors to control the process better as well as give them benefits which is what they have wanted. The average contractor now makes more than 21% more under the new system. We have had very few court cases and have NEVER lost!! What does that tell you??? Denny's...no....This guy must be working there now and have no idea about how a publishing company works...

Trader Publishing--- Discrimination and Harassment based on age, religion, sex, race, ethnicity, tenure, and level of benefits, as well as personal animosity by superiors, and any other tactics. These facts often lead to retaliation, which allows for illegal/immoral termination or forced resignation, and denial of benefits, by creating a hostile working environment.
