trans am trucking this is what happens when there is NO regulation to protect the little man olathe kansas
leasing the truck from trans am. 84cpm (cents per mile) plus fuel surcharge 100%. lets start with the cpm they take .05 cpm from u for a variable in which they refuse to explain that adds up to be about $5 - $680 per month. they have this special add on to the ins. called physical damage that u must by into at $145 per week. the fuel surcharge from the shippers r usually up over the .50 cpm. trans am gives u the national average which is always rock bottom and they pocket the rest of the( f.s.). you sit for and average of 24 to 48 hrs at one of the meat plants with no detention time. u have no access to your maint. acct which is your money. they have to approve you to use your own money. safety rating is through the roof its so bad that they have to install driver cams in the trucks now. i wanted to talk to settlements one day at the terminal and they refuse to see me i had to call my lawyer and have him call trans am and make them see me. 1 out of every 275 drivers rides away with a title to a truck. 245 out 275 drivers leave trans having lost everything or close to it home ,car, spouse, even the dog. so in a nut shell when u work for trans am u will always owe them more than u can make. u can't drive 3000 or mor miles in a week and get paid 150 maybe 200 dollars. because trans am has raped the bulk of ur money. the sad thing is that truck drivers keep this country moving and the gov. turns a blind eye to how these trucking comp. chew the driver up and spit he or she out. so if u do everything right over here it will look like this gross $3000.00 u owe trans am $2300.00 then comes the magic of these 4 letters MISC. $$$$$$. now ur net pay is $250-$600. here is the secret this is the only word that trans am fears.
