Trans Am Trucking Working for free olathe Kansas
My husband started at Trans Am in December just a few days after Christmas. He was told one thing through a recruiter, than when he got there was another story. He went for 11 days with a trainer, company policy. He was told that after his 11 days and went on his own, he would receive a $1500.00 bonus....that never happened. He received nothing of any bonus of any sort. Nearly three months into him driving on his own, getting paid weekly he never recieved more than just a few hundred dollars at a time, if that. He was having trouble with his dispathcer never taking his calls and being a complete a$$ most of the time. Most of the time he was living off of advances of $50 or $100 dollars at a time. He came home two times while he was on the road. He was gone 4-6 weeks at a time. We have four kids together and I stayed at home with the kids while he worked, but it was very rare he sent money home and when he did, it was not worth the drive to get it because of the gas it took to get there was nearly what he sent to me. When he came home a few weeks ago, he was only supose to be there 3 days, then go back. But because we was behind on our rent and he could never send that much money to me, while he was here he could not go back, we had to pack up and move to another state. But trans am dispatcher wanted him to come back and told my husband he had not intentions on coming back after home time. What right does that idiot have to say that? He did not understand our situation and didnt care he just wanted him to come back and to leave me there to move a big house and four kids on my own with no Help!!! That was not happening. We have since moved to another state and as of a week ago my husband no longer wanted to work for them and decided to some home. His check should of been nealry $900 dollars after hsi truck payment, fuel, insurance and etc...when he went to take out money to send to pay for a event venue spot for our 10th wedding anniversary...he was -.82 cent. Prior to that, and starting on his own he never recieved more than a few hundred dollars for a months time. They always gave him some excuse to why he ever received any pay. Some kind of fee had to come out or something like that. Several people my husband stayed in contact with have been receiving the same thing, and one of them was -$1400+ dollars in the hole. He was a lease operator was getting 1.27 per mile, but some how I do not think that is what he was receiving. At one time he sat for nearly 3 to 4 days without a load and never wanted to pay layover pay. This place is a joke!!!
