Hello, In order to be fair to Transcend USA, I would like the forum to know that through the efforts of Patricia Culley at Transcend, I received my rebate for $40 for the 1GB of DDR2 memory I purchased earlier this year. Kudos to Transcend for insuring it's customers get the rebates they are entitled to... Dogbert2

Well, I got some e-mail from Patricia Culley (I mis-spelled her name in the original posting), telling me that rebatestatus.com had reversed two of the values in the UPC code (seems impossible, unless you are typing in the number by hand and not using a scanner), and in checking on rebatestatus.com, it now shows my rebate should be mailed out in mid-December, so I'll keep everyone posted to see if I get the rebate, or if they are just stringing me along. I also filed a complaint with the BBB in NY state (which referred the matter to BBB of phoenix, AZ), so I will see what comes of that as well. Like I said before, I think a lot of good companies are getting a bad rep. by these rebate firms, and they have to work much harder to get the customer the rebate owed him or her for that reason (making rebate offers hard to comply with is one reason why many stores have done away with them in the first place, e.g. - Best Buy). Kudos to Transcend Memory for going the extra mile to help out someone who buys their products.
