One May 19, 2008, I called Tranzparts Inc. in Tampa FL and ordered a bell housing for a C4 transmission. I spoke with Lou and was very specific about the fact that I needed the bell housing that fit a 157 tooth flywheel not one for 164 tooth flywheel. He said he knew exactly what I needed and that they did in fact have it in stock. The total for the purchase and shipping was $119.99.

The bell housing arrived two days later via UPS. Upon opening the box, we discovered that not only was the bell housing severally cracked, but it was also the one for the 164 tooth flywheel. I called Lou a couple of days later and when I told him about the problem, his response was: Well, that was the best I could do. I told him I would be returning the bell housing and that I wanted a refund. He said that was fine and as soon as they received the part pack, they would credit my debit card. I sent the part back on Wednesday, June 4 via UPS and it was received by Tranzparts on Friday, June 6.

I waited one week for the money to be credited to my account, which it never was. I called Friday, June 13 and once again talked to Lou. I told him I was calling to confirm the fact that they had received the part back and that the refund was forth coming. He told me they never got the part. When I told him I was holding the tracking number in my hand and I knew they had received the part, he hung the phone up on me. I called back and talked to the office manager Desiree. She said she would make sure the credit went through. Still nothing. I called her again today and she said she would check the status and call me back. No call back.

I am on my way to the bank. They are not going to refund my money, so I might as well get it back from the bank.

Stay far, far away from these people. The are complete liars!!
