My fianc and I recently attended a philadelphia 76ers game where we filled out a raffle to win a free 3 night cruise to the Bahamas. 3 weeks after the game we received a call informing us that we won and would need to attend a presentation to receive our cruise. A bit hesitant we attended the presentation at Sundance Vacations office in Pennsylvania. At the presentation we listened to a presentation in which we were shown pictures of popular vacation sites and partnerships available through Sundance Vacations.

After listening to a 1hr presentation we were taken to the back to receive our free cruise. We sat at a table with a sales woman who proceeded to discuss the wholesale vacation package from Sundance. We were pressured to sign a contract and after many price reductions and pressured sales pitch we signed the contract.

Since signing the contract we registered for our free cruise where we were told we had to pay a $99 per person fee to cover port fees. Two months later we were contacted to confirm our reservation, where we were told we would need to pay an additional $250 per person. This entire trip would cost us approximately $700 or more with us equilvant to directly booking a similar cruise on any major cruise line. After informing us of the cost factor we were then told that they did not have the dates we chose available. Needless to say we have yet to take advantage of our free 'post- wedding' cruise. This comes as a disappointment as we have both scheduled time off of work to enjoy some post wedding celebrations however, this opportunity may never be possible.

In an effort to remedy this situation we decided to take advantage of our vacation weeks but once again that desire was deflated as we were informed that there were no dates available even though we contacted them in September for a trip in February. The company touts a 90 day booking timeline however booking 5 months in advance still does not guarantee any availability. We have never been able to take our cruise, never able to take advantage of the wonderful vacation spots advertised and may never be able to take our much anticipated post wedding vacation.
