My husband & I are usually very smart people and do not fall for this type of high pressure sales pitch. Well, we had a big lapse in judgement one night at a Travel Partners presentation. We should have known when it sounds too good to be true, it is!!
The first time I called to book our family vacation I told the woman what type of trip I was looking for. She said that it doesn't work that way, but I had to tell her the name of the resort or hotel I wanted and she would see if they had a member price. That is not a "full service" travel agency.
Well, I called and spoke to another agent who was much more helpful. He actually said that she was fired. I told him the area we wanted to and the amenitites I would like. He gave me a few places & the "member price".
My husband & I looked online at our choices and decided to book a resort. While on the phone with agent I was surfing travel sites and happened to be on Expedia.com while he quoted me the "member price". Imagine my surprise and the sinking feeling in my stomach when he said $1292.67...the price to the penny that I was looking at on Expedia.com. He said that was very unusual and that with Expedia I won't get my big $50 commission (which I still don't have after leaving several messages.).
We went on our trip and I tried to tell myself that it was just a coincidence. Didin't want to admit we got ripped-off. Then we checked in a right on our reservation card guess who the booking agent was. You are right if you said Expedia.com. Definitely got ripped-off.
I don't know what we are going to do about it, yet. I will be talking to lawyers to see if we have a case. If you have any similar experience please respond. Maybe we can help each other stop these people.If you have not joined and get a call that you won a prize...DO NOT GO!!!!

My name is James Parry, President & Co-Owner of Travel Partners USA, LLC. . Although this negative report has been submitted anonymously, we have tried to identify the member of our travel club who has written this report. Based upon the information contained in this complaint, we have hopefully been able to determine the dissatisfied party who wrote this on 7/21/2008. We wish to respect their anonymity and will refer to them as Mr. & Mrs. M. We were able to search our travel bookings reports for a trip which cost exactly $1,292.67 and who reside in Sunrise, Florida. This was the first travel booking as new members who joined our travel club in 2008. According to our membership profile communication records, Mrs M. had spoken with our Director of Travel Services on 8/26/2008 about her membership benefits and she stated that she felt much better about the savings that she will be entitled to with future bookings involving various forms of travel that are available at discounted retail and wholesale pricing. Since my concern is to provide real value for our members I am inviting this couple to come into our offices and discuss our services and benefits in more detail. We are absolutely determined to ensure that our members are satisfied with our pricing and service. Sincerely, James R.
