TravelBridge "Free" vacation ripoff ripoff waste of time Scottsdale Arizona
Don't waste your time trying to get a 'free vacation' by attending a Travelbridge seminar. My wife and I spent 90 minutes listening to the great advantages of becoming a member of Travelbridge.
The price for this privilege started out at around $6000 but was reduced to nearly $2000 before we left without signing a contract. We collected our 'free' vacation gift upon being rushed out to make room for the next group.
The 'free' vacation for a 2 day/2 night trip to San Diego from Phoenix requires us to send $175 to the National Redemption Center somewhere in Northern California. Supposedly, $100 is for a refundable room deposit; although they don't say when or how to collect the refund.
The other $75 is for taxes and is nonrefundable. There are all sorts of restrictions on travel dates and no way to plan ahead since you have to send the money and then after they cash your check they will send you a form to select three preferred dates with no assurance that you will get any of those dates.
Needless to say, we won't be sending them any of our hard earned money and hope that noone else gets caught in this scam.
