Travelocity ripoff be careful to buy flight ticket from their Web Site Internet
I was happy to know that travelocity, giving the cheapest flight ticket possible from Seattle to Orlando Florida. For round trip just cost me $ 193 / person. Under the flexible date, they gave customer right to choose some dates that still available for that rate. And we choose one specific date : Dec 16 th. and return on Dec 26 th.
Everything went well and we have been charged about $ 920 for 4 person. They will give us e-mail for confirmation, etc. I called the Hotel and car rental ( not from them) for that date. When I checked the e-mail, what a nightmare, they changed the date I have choosed to Jan 16 and return on Jan 26.
I called them explaining everything, and the conclution I have to pay $1,700 more, for the date I wanted. I refuse it, off course. What a rip off.
They call it "flexible date", and allow customer to choose the dates that available, but after we choose it, they changed it whatever date they want. If Travelocity warning us on the front, that the date could change without our approval, I would not ever buy that ticket, which at last I pay more than regular ticket purchased directly to airlines company.
I am sad, I thought that using travelocity will save me money but they rip me off. Be careful everybody.
