I booked a trip on 1 June for myself and my parents for 5 June - 8 June On 2 June I was told by a doctor not to fly and to delay the trip by a week.

I called Travelocity on 2 June and was told that as I was calling within 24 hours, I could cancel and get a refund. However as it was a package, they needed to call the hotel as the hotel charged a penalty fee. They called but hotel reservations had left for the evening.

I was told to call back tomorrow to confirm the refund. This I duly did, only to be told that as I was calling outside of the 24 hours, I had to forfeit the flight costs (effectively 80% of the trip).

I explained that Samuel had spoken to a supervisor and had cleared this. Unfortunately, it wasn't documented. Samuel disconnected (or the call dropped, often a problem with outsourced calls). I was told he tried to call me back (he didn't).

I'm $800 out of pocket and will never use travelocity again.

I never had a problem with booking a flight with Travelocity. However with that being said this was the first time I had to book a Hotel room through them. Let me tell you do not! I repeat DO NOT!! waste your time with this horrible shitty a*s company. This will be the last time I am dealing with them. Not only did they charge my Boyfriend credit card twice they also charged him for the room that we booked. So yeah okay we got a room but where is this extra $240 coming from? My Boyfriend made a call to them and the b***h said she will refund the money within 24-48 hours. Well where's our money b***h?? They are liars! and they should be brought down because of this. I cannot tolerate dishonest companies that eat your money and have a hard time refunding customers money back that they wrongfully charged. Who the f**k reads nowadays if you wanna take our money just put it in big block letters and we will steer very clear. We have yet to get out money back but, their going to get a happy chime in their mailbox from me. You've been warn stay away from bsvelocity....their nothing but BULLSHIT!
