I purchased a round trip ticket from my girl friend. they Honoured the first trip, but the way home they did not.

she was not alowed on the flight and when i called Travelocity they said they could switch her flight for $230 max to a later flight and everything would be fine, i did not like it but said ok, they put me on hold then came back and said there was going to be a $350 charge for switching the flight and i would have to pay for the new flight. almost $3000 since i was at the air port i asked them what it would cost for a new flight $1700 way less than what travelocity was saying it would be to switch the already paid for flight that they did not honour.

I questioned the customer service rep on this he said that he would look into it. so he lowered it to $2000 plus the the switching flight fee. but don't forget i already paid $1200 for the flight they did not honour. they said that if i paid the $3000 i could fax them later and ask for some of it back but no promises. In the end i got a new ticket from another company for $1040 (1/3 the amount Travelocity.ca wanted) and they honoured it.
