 Dear Readers,

Please do NOT buy from Trend Times.  They are on online toy company whom sell overpriced electronic toys, remote control cards and other similar toys.

On December 24th, I began to assemble the BMW type SUV that I had purchased online for $400.  It was listed on the website as a two seater and noted that it could hold up to 2 individuals with a max of 80 lbs.  As I begn to put this SUV together, I followed the directions step by step.  The assembly was fairly straight forward.  However, upon completing the last step, I noticed that the back bumper was still not assembled and the directions actually showed the back bumper as being pre-assembled, meaning that it should have come already on the frame of the vehicle.

So, I immediatley called Trend Times and they told me that their Customer Service Department would be in within 30 minutes.  It was 11:30AM.  At 12PM, their answering service said they were gone until December 30th.

On December 30th, I called back and was told to call "John", their manager.  I told John what had happened and he told me he'd get with the Tech Guys and call me back on by Friday Jan 3rd.  He never called.

I called him after a week (Jan 9th) and he told me that the fotos he requested were never sent by me.  First, he never requested fotos of the frame, nor the bumper.  So I took the fotos, sent them out via my cell phone that day and he told me I'd have a call back by today, 3PM.  Another big surprise, he never called me.

Then after asking him a bunch of questions, he told me that he would be filing a damage claim with Federal Express.  I asked him, why are you filing a damage claim when there's no damage to the vehicle?  He then started to get very upset and told me, "Are you a shipping Expert"?  I said no, but I said, you're trying to file a damage claim with Federal Express and I already told you nothing was damaged.  The only issue was that the back bumper, which was originally shipped with the rest of the SUV and wrapped nicely in protective wrap should have been pre assembled.  That's when things got really bad.

"john" said to me, " Mr. R......., I really do not think you're actually telling me the truth.  Based on everything I've heard, I actually think that you damaged the car and are trying to get a refund."  I then said, "John, why would I make a false claim when I've already sent the fotos and when I send this back to you, you will see that nothing has been done to the back bumper."

Needless to say, he's prolonging the situation and I want to make sure that you do NOT buy any toys for your children from Trend Times.  This is a shaddy company and their BBB rating is an F with NUMEROUS issues on PRODUCT/CUSTOMER SERVICE/ETC.

Hopefully, you will all read this and go elsewhere to buy expensive toys.
