Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was involved in an accident and totaled my car. We went to see about getting another one and we were approved through Triad. A few months after the accident I could no longer run my business (Home Daycare Provider) and we lost my income and my husband also lost money at his job. We could no longer afford the car payment.

We called Triad and asked to voluntarily surrender the car. We set the date up, we even went out and talked to the tow truck driver Jason. Triad said they would send us a bill after the car went to auction. Months went by and we heard nothing. We never recieved a bill, instead we started recieving harrasing phone calls from First Financial Collection Agency.

We went through many months of being called all day and yelled at and told to pay my bills, and what a failure I was and my husband being told he was a lousy husband who couldnt provide for his family. We were threatend with going to jail, having wages attached etc.

We were given different stories depending on which representative we spoke too. I finally sent a letter to the company telling them they were no longer to call my home or my husbands job and that any further contact must be made through mail.

That too failed, we still recieved calls. We finally spoke with a lady named Mrs. Kay Raye, she was very polite and helpful and we set up a payment plan. We thought that it was almost over, were we ever wrong.

We got a reminder notice of the last payment in the plan and we would be done. I called First Financial and asked to speak to Mrs. Raye, she no longer was in charge of our case, we were now dealing with Tami Porter. Tami Porter informed me that they were not authorized to give us the settlement so we still owed over $1800. I told her I was not paying anymore and that they needed to contact Triad and let them know what was going on and that we had paid them. She said they would not do that until it was paid in full.

I called Triad and was told that there is nothing they can do, if the collection agency does not tell them we have paid. I asked if they could contact First Financial and ask how much we had paid and close our account, I was told no that I needed to deal with First Financial.

I called just today again after recieving a call from Tami Porter stating that they were pulling $360.50 out of my account on the 1st. I did not authorize this, upon looking at my account they also pulled $110 out on the 15th of this month. When I told Triad what was going on they transfered me to a Yolonda, I left numerous messages and have heard nothing back.

I believe this is Triads doing, as if they wanted their money they would go after First Financial for the almost $3000 we have already paid. But they will do nothing. I will gladly help with any case against Triad! They are trying to milk more money out of people who do not have it and the collection agencies they do business with are horrible to say the least.
