I unintentionally stumbled on to this website, but I am so glad I did. I thought I was alone in my troubles with Triad. Please count me in to the lawsuit. My troubles began when I had a knee injury and was unable to pay 1 month out of a 6 year loan. I called them to see what kind of arrangements I could make.

The customer service representative I spoke with was so rude I was shocked. They told me I had to have a real good reason to ask for an extension. I tried to explain what happened, but to no avail I ended by hanging up on the person. I was afraid to call back. Since that time, I moved notifing them of my address change. I changed cell phone companies as well. Since they didn't have my current ph.#, they started sending me harassing letters via mail.

I finally gathered the courage to call from my home phone, and possibly make arrangements for paying this 1 missed payment. I spoke to a woman, and explained to her what happened, the man I had previously spoken with, and the arrangements I tried to make with him. She was even more rude than the first person.

n my frustration, I asked to speak with her supervisor. Another woman gets on the line and verbally abuses me about the missed payment. Again, I had to hang up. I didn't know what to do, and then THEY had my home phone number. Then the phone calls started!!! I had to just leave my ringer off on the phone, because of the amount of calls I was getting. OH! the messages they would leave me.

I finally gathered enough money to pay the missed payment. The phone calls ceased for awhile. THANK GOD!!!! Now that my( what my records show as a final partial payment of $176.84 not due until July 08) "final payment" approaches the calls have started again. The statement I received in June states amount now due (my usual car payment amount) amount past due $0 with total amount due to pay off my car. They accepted my payment for June by cashing the check. What is left is the balance to pay off my car.

I refuse to answer the phone anymore when they call, and I will tell you my boyfriend and I joke when their number appears in caller ID. We have many nicknames as to what T.F.C. stands for. TOTALLY FAVORITE CALLER amongst others. I am terrified after hearing stories like mine and worse when dealing with this company. Please, if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. HELP!
