In May 2004 my vehicle was involved in a hit and run collision in New Orleans, LA in which damage resulted to the rear of my vehicle. On May 27, 2004 I brought my car (2004 Porsche Cayenne S) to my Insurance company to receive an estimate for damages. Joseph M. Dimitri, an acquaintance at the time, offered his services because he claimed to own an automotive body repair shop and would be able to repair the damages to my vehicle (Mr. Dimitri is the owner of "Tricked Out Customs").

The insurance company wrote the check in my name and I signed it over to Mr. Dimitri for repair costs. I dropped my car off at Mr. Dimitri's residence at 226 14st. in Metairie, LA and he had stated that he would be able to repair my vehicle there. A few days later I was told by friends of mine that my vehicle was seen at various locations around the uptown/downtown New Orleans areas. On June 4, 2004 myself and a few friends witnessed Mr. Dimitri driving my vehicle on Royal St. in downtown New Orleans.

I immediately contacted Mr. Dimitri and he was reluctant to admit any knowledge of this, when in fact he was without question the driver of my car (he had the window down and music up as he cruised around in my car without care or concern). With no way of going over to Mr. Dimitri's to obtain my car, I went immediately the following day and took my vehicle back from Mr. Dimitri's possession. He continued to deny having used my vehicle, but the odometer read an additional 700 miles to what the insurance company had recorded on my car about a week earlier.

He then went on to state that it might have been a co-worker of his that was abusing my vehicle; all under his companies possession. After having misused my vehicle and making no effort to repair the damages that were necessary, I had a lawyer contact Mr. Dimitri to obtain the refund for the $1,650.87 check I had signed over to Mr. Dimitri from my insurance company. To this date I have not received a cent of my money back, and Mr. Dimitri fabricated a receipt for services that were never perfomed on my vehicle.
