tropical tours r us misrepresented vacation package Nationwide
I purchased 3 vacation packages each for 2 people so that my family could all go on vacation. It had long been a dream of mine to take my family on a tropical vacation.
I booked our trip through Amber. She told me that the hotel would call to confirm. When the hotel called to verify our stay I was told that each package had to be a married couple. I told them this was not a condition of purchase. The hotel gave me a phone number to try to correct the "problem" it was out of service. When I tried to call Amber, there was never an answer (for 2 weeks). I emailed twice with no response. When the credit card company tried to call the booking agent he actually laughed at her and told her to call customer service. That would be Amber.
In other words I spent weeks being given the run around.
This is a scam. Please do not purchase!
