 Looks like Troy is back scamming real estate investors. A tiger never changes its stripes. It is a sad day when you realize that the person you have grown to trust in business stops returning your calls, emails and messages once they have what they want from you, YOUR money. This has been my exact experience with Troy St. Pierre of Alternate Mutual (it has now changed to Dexter Enterprises). As a beginning real estate investor, I was eager to learn from someone that was experienced, had done deals and could give me advise on how to structure my real estate business. One thing Troy does very well is that he knows exaclty how to tap into your needs and wants and fuels them with empty promises. He is very good at building a rapport with you, telling you how his "years of experience", his connections and everything he knows "Will put you light years ahead of your competition and in 6 to 12 months, you will be well off in your financial situation!" Isn't that right Troy? Isn't that what you told me when we spoke about the business corporation that never happend? That's right, for anyone reading this that's in the middle of negotiating a package to incorporate their business with Troy's "connections" run the other way! Fast! His exact words to me were, "if for any reason, we are unsuccessful and don't form your corporation, you will see your money back in 60 to 90 days!" Well, it's been over a year and I don't have a corporation, not even a stincking EIN number! The guy did nothing! When I knew the 90 days after we signed the agreement were almost up, he always had some lame excuse. He kept me at bay with the excuse that he was working on getting me a better corporation package with more bells and whistles for the same price, but he had to wait 'till the packages were available from his lawyer since they were discounted. Every month for a year was the same story, "Sorry, not available yet!" After our one year agreement was up and still no corporation, he stopped answering my calls, and emails. He has completely shut me off and has had Zero communication with me. I feel that if this guy had the right intentions, and was as ethical as he claims he is (now, that's a big joke!), I would've at least gotten some kind of explanation, a phone call, an email, something!! Troy took $4000 of my hard earn money. This was money I had set aside to pay our property taxes for the previous year but decided to take the "leap of faith" as he put it, and "invested" in incorporating with Troy with the understanding that I would see it back in 60 to 90 days from the corporation...right Troy?! Big mistake. It was all empty promises. In my perseption, the guy stole my money, did what he needed to do with it and has now cut me off. The most horrible part for me in this whole ordeal is that at the time that Troy and I were "building our corporation", my brother-in-law was looking to incorporate himself for some business ventures he had in mind. I regret this from the bottom of my heart, but I introduced him to Troy and he did the same thing to him as well. In total, Troy has taken $8000.00 from our family and as far as I can see, he does not plan on giving this back. I regret even getting to know him, introducing my family to him, and hope and pray that something can be done about it. Please don't do any kind of business with this guy or his affiliates, DON'T TRUST HIM! I would be very interested as well to join forces with anyone that's willing to persue a class lawsuit against Troy and everyone he's affiliated with that's helping him the his scams.
