Trufflemagic, a company owned by Alpha Growers LLC which is also known to be associated with Freshmushrooms LTD in the Netherlands, claim to produce and sell gourmet truffles by mail order via their website - http://www.trufflemagic.com/

Trufflemagic also offer an affiliate program for website owners (like me) who wish to promote the Trufflemagic products on their own web site in return for a 15 percent commission whenever a purchase is made by a customer that has been referred by the affiliate by clicking on one of their links.

As a Trufflemagic affiliate for almost two years now, I can absolutely confirm that the Trufflemagic affiliate program is completely misleading and fraudulent.

When I first joined the program in 2012, my site was generating, on average, one sale every week for the first eight months but since receiving my first commission payment of one hundred euros after that first eight month period, not even a single transaction has registered in my Trufflemagic account.

In light of this sudden drop in sales, I took the liberty of integrating my Trufflemagic affiliate links with a third party tracking program which, contrary to the statistic reports in my Trufflemagic affiliate account, showed a substantial, continuous flow of highly targeted, pre-qualified visitors to the Trufflemagic website every day. However, to this day there have been zero sales registered on their system.

Of course I have sent countless emails to one of the business owners, Peter de Boer, with  the click data from my tracking program attached clearly indicating obvious discrepancies with their affiliate reporting system and, although I have been assured on several occasions by Mr. Peter de Boer that they do realize the problem and are working fixing it, nothing has been done since I first raised the matter over one year ago.

The program claims to offer "real time" reporting and statistics on all referred visitors and all transactions through their affiliate program which (as a matter of fact) is what convinced me to join the program in the first place.

However, these claims of accurate and transparent transaction reports are completely false  complete and, as far as I can see, are simply a classic case of an ecommerce site offering an affiliate program only for the sole purpose of getting a ton of free, and of course quality, pre-qualified visitors (ready to pay) back to their site in order to gain a priority listing in the search engine results pages.

To anyone considering joining the Trufflmagic affiliate program, speaking from genuine experience, I strongly recommend you do not waste your time with Trufflemagic.
