My complaint is primarily with the lack of functional state software for 2012, the lack of support, and false information regarding product status. I've handled returns for GA, SC, and NC.
GA was stated to be approved and released for e-File early on; but, problems have persisted with returns rejected by the TRX e-File center, for reasons they cannot explain nor remedy.
When the SC forms were finally made available, it was actually the 2011 SC program incorporated into the 2012 software, with 2011 forms and calculations; which forms cannot be filed, at all.
The NC program is of no use, as it requires more effort to correct program discrepancies than to manually prepare the return; and, forms printed from the program have discrepancies not apparent in print-preview, and, which cannot be remedied.
Following is correspondence related to SC program status; the first from the TRX Support Manager, the second from SCDOR:

Subject: RE: software not approved, paper file?
Please do not file by using 2011 tax returns, striking
through "2011" and writing in "2012".
Also, our software approvers tell me that TaxExact/TRXPro
has not submitted anything for approval for this year.
