I was completely honest with the folks from Audit Defense. They received copies of all documentation but determined taht they would not accept my case. The policy that I purchased stated that they would represent me and that I would be completely satisfied. They did not represent me nor did they offer a refund. They did cancel my coverage before and reinstate my coverage after the conclusion of the audit. I may never know if the presence of a representative would have made a difference int outcome of my case.

"They requested more documents but did not give me a specific date to send in these documents." Did you ever send those in? If so, when? Maybe it was cancelled because you didn't send them? Then sent them later and it was reinstated? Just wondering because you weren't at all specific.

WHY they thought that your audit coverage should be cancelled? Without specifics as to what you were audited for, this is a difficult situation to understand. Did you fail to turn in all of your income? Did you lie as to your dependents? Was this simply a mathmatical error? Would audit coverage made a difference in the outcome of your case? Since your audit coverage was reinstated, are they planning on standing behind their guarentee? Please give us more information so that we can make an informed decision regarding this ripoff report.
