Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was contacted by Turns Inc asking if I woud be interested in completing projects. My first project was at Sams Club for a floor display set up and was told I would be paid $50 upon completion. I was then asked to complete a 2-day project at Home Depot for a Bath reset. This included building full displays and moving inventory. I worked overnight from 9pm to 7am for a total of 20 hours. I was told to bring a helper, who also worked alongside me and was never paid. I am currently owed over $650, not including the mileage.

While these projects were being completed, I was consistently contacted by Denise Robinson and Racquelle Murphy. I also received a call from Vernard Simmons himself explaining how important the project at Home Depot was for the company.

However after I completed the projects and sent in my invoice, I no longer received calls. I called Racquelle Murphy at her extention after she stopped answering my calls to her cell number, and was told by her that now they will be contacting me by email now on since they were very busy all of a sudden. This change was immediatly after the work was completed and verified. I was told Denise was unavailable and my emails and calls were eventually completely ignored. It has now been 6 months that I have been attempting to make contact. I contacted the Attorney General of Georgia and was advised to send a certified letter demanding payment. That letter was received and signed for by Denise Robinson, however I never received any response. That was 2 months ago. I am now in the process of filing a claim but am open to joining a class action lawsuit as I feel what this company is doing is illegal. They are receiving money from these contracts for work carried out by merchandisers that they never pay.

Note: My response ended up on my own report and is meant as a reply to another report. It can be found here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/TURNS-Inc/Atlanta-Georgia-30339/TURNS-Inc-Vernard-Simmons-CEODenise-Robinson-Operations-ManagerRacquelle-Murphy-Admin-1149878

But please note the additional information regarding SSN's and take heed!

And again, if anyone reading this is wanting to file a class action lawsuit, please let me know, somehow. Thanks

I was also contacted by Racquelle Murphy and Denise Robinson asking for projects to be completed in January in Sams Club and Home Depot. The Attorney General of Georgia advised me to send a letter to demand payment, which I sent in May. Denise Robinson signed for the letter, but I never received a response. I also intend to file a complaint with the Department of Labor as well as file a small claim.

Even MORE disturbing is they have people's SSN's. I am still investigating, but I recently had credit card fraud originating from Atlanta, GA shortly after signing forms with this company. So I highly advise anyone who has given this company their SSN's to keep an open eye for fraud and identity theft.

I feel a class action lawsuit would be far more beneficial for everyone who has been scammed by this company. I'm interested in doing that because it is still happening and will continue to happen. It's been going on long enough! I wish I would've known before dealing with this company, but all I can do now is help the next person and hope that one day I can finally be paid through the court of law.
