TVDVDMania.com is a scam. They indicate new products and ship low quality amature television recordings! Not Sure Where The Company Is Located But The DVDs Shipped From China Internet
I ordered the complete Carol Burnett series from TVDVDMania.com on Dec. 5, 2008. The website makes you believe that you are getting the original new product.
I was told via email to expect delivery in 8 to 12 business days and was given a USPS tracking number. Finally on Dec. 19th, 2008 the tracking number was able to be traced. The product was shipping from China. This was my first indication that I had been duped. I finally received the shipment on Jan. 5th, 2009. Obviously not in time for the Christmas present!
The website indicates the episodes will be in chronological order-they are not!
The episodes are obviously copied from TV and the TV Land symbol appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. Some episodes lock up and so far one DVD just plain does not work (disc 3). The episodes that do work are of extremely poor quality. The discs have hand written numbers on them and were delivered in a cheap plastic VCR box.
I have requested a refund through the email address that I obtained from their "customer service department" when I got the tracking number but have had no response to date regarding that request.
I have reported the transaction to my bank as a fraudulent transaction and am trying to get my money back through that avenue. I suggest that anyone else that has been duped like me to try the same thing through your bank.
Do not order from this site-it is an obvious scam.
