TVPast.com RAD Productions Prepaid $1850 for a replica prop, now TVPast will not respond to emails & says I have wrong number when I phone Woodbridge, Virginia
I ordered a replica TV prop from TVPast.com in August 2009 and paid the full asking price of $1850 up front.
The prop was to be a custom-made, limited-run item. My understanding at the time was that the item would take up to one (1) year to manufacture, owing to the complexity and workmanship involved.
Numerous delays were reported by the company via email between August 2009 and July 2010. The last email I received from TVPast.com was dated July 30th 2010. This email provided a projected ship date of January or February 2011. It is now July 2011, yet I still have not received the item.
I emailed TVPast.com on July 3rd and then July 8th 2011 asking what was going on, but they have not replied (despite their website saying that they will reply to emails within 48 hours).
When I called the phone number that was included on one of the old emails, the guy who
answered said I had the wrong number.
I believe that this company has defrauded me of $1850 and it looks as though they will get
away with it.
