TWX RIP OFF MAGAZINE COMPANY LINKED TO BOOKS A MILLION New York
I have had several charges on my bank account from this company 877-417-3309, 877-850-3219 and 3218. When we called the first time they told us that I authorized them at BOOKS A MILLION when they offered me a free magazine subscription. Obviously, BOOKS A MILLION did not explain to me that this was a scam and my debit card would be charges continuously. I am furious with BOOKS A MILLION for doing this to me, will never step foot in their store again.
First it was People magazine, we cancelled that and they credited our account. Now they are randomly sending me magazines I've never heard of "Real Simple" and "Solving" something. And yes, they are randomly charging our debit card account used at BOOKS A MILLION. They told us we are going to have to call in for each individual magazine each time they send and charge our account. I've told my husband we are going to have to get a new debit card to stop this.
