In February of 2013, I was minding my busines when a txu rep called me to offer an electricity plan.they had been calling for days so I picked up the phone. Th rep offered me an average billing plan and said that it would save me money and it would basiically be the same every month.I was on a month to month billing which was expensive but at least there wasn't an extra expensive contract attached to it.I should have known that if they wanted to save me money , they had something to gain.I went along with the plan because she said there was no contract, no fees even I decided to cancel it.She didin't say anthing about about a debit /credit of your cumulative bill. That was part of it too.I didn't know it until I read the page on the internet 2 months later. I took the plan thinking that maybe they were giving their paying customer a break. WRONG.I got the first bill and it was 175.00 . The second month was 184. I though it would only deviate about a couple of dollars.I calle a rep March 26,2013 to asked about the bill and what I was told.This rep told me I would have to pay $150.00 to cancel if I wanted to change back.

The first rep told me that I wouldn't any fee if i decided  I didn't like it.ANOTHER LIE.plus this bill can fluctuate a lots base on your past historical uses and now dig this.plus 10% of the cumulative balance. In other words if you have a high bill they will stretch the difference out over several months.You never really pay out the bill. They say if your bill is less they will credit your account.The rep had me believeing that once I pay the bill, I was finsh for that month.It is a cumulative debit credit account so if you do decide to leave, you will pay a lump sum of money at the end especially if youhave high usage.To me it is a way to get over on customers.

      I lived in Georgia and they have average  and they don't have any cumulative credit and debit account plus adding 10% of the balance of your bill. You pay the bill and when you get off you are off.There is no large fee and a debit on the difference of your account. If you change or drop out , that is it. TXU is so deliberately sneaky,They don't tell you everything,They tell you a bunch of lies to suck you in without going through all the details.All of thes electric companies in Texas rip off customers with these high rate and pub allows them to do this.None of them should be on the best business list .TXU is sneaky and deliberste with theirs.
