On June 26th , 2012, Ubisoft offered "Ghost Recon:future soldier" for $50 via amazon.com . seeing how amazon has NO refund policy for software downloads, I'm pointing my finger directly at Ubisoft for this defective software product. they also sell a special edition with unlock-able items like camouflage uniforms and weaponry for the game. As it stands right now, people are complaining(paying customers) about this game after having forked over $50 or more depending on what edition you bought. that's isn't the problem.

what IS the problem is, the game released completely broken. by this I mean I and many others either CAN'T boot the game up to play it, but numerous complaints show on the Ubisoft forums that people complete levels in the game and unlock-able content isn't even unlocking as it should. Also, the game is running on a peer to peer scheme whereby a player hosts as a server and other players can join that players server to play, multiplayer games(team vs team) or single player as a 4 man team. Many folks are complaining that, they can't even join servers or, they join servers and get dropped due to substandard programming code drops their internet connection or even the game crashes to the windows desktop and even get what are called Yeti errors(the game engine appears to be what is named Yeti).

the game is so broken that i was forced to uninstall my game and all software I downloaded from amazon because UBISOFT doesn't seem to care or be able to fix this game title. I'm charging that UBISOFT is in breach of contract in that, they release a software title to run within reasonable parameters without errors or function with usability.

UBISOFT's forums: UBISOFT-Ghost Recon future soldier forum

look at the forum link provided and tell me that this game runs within reason of a quality product. it is in fact defective! US law states that a product that doesn't work as the warranted (to function in most cases at all)is ground for forced refunds on behalf of UBISOFT.

People have  tried their joke of technical support only to get canned responses about trying different things to get the game to run or get it to run at all. I'm requesting if ripoffreport.com can help facilitate a refund for a product that doesn't perform as promised. basically put, this game is a ported product whereby UBISOFT got lazy and took the game meant for the consoles like; PS3,xbox360 and slapped it into the confines of the personal computer.

also, the game has what is called anti-aliasing whereby this feature draws straight lines on edges of geometry so it looks nicer and more real and not jagged. but UBISOFT couldn't even get this feature to work properly and I found a temporary "fix" by reverting back to an older version of files for anti-aliasing by applying these files to the folder where the game resides. But tech support isn't even giving people legitimate responses to support in terms of trying to get the game to function within reason.

my contention and allegations are in summary:
  1. the game is incomplete and broken in most cases to warrant it to be a sloppy product and doesn't work as warranted(within reason)
  2. tech support doesn't function to truly help people get this software title to run and there is no one personal to talk to. just a problem submission site within their domain
  3. Ubisoft refuses to answer calls from customers who want and feel they deserve a refund for a product that doesn't function, they feel "ripped off."
I ask ripoff report.com if they can help remedy this situation by getting this into the right hands and allowing people to get their hard earned monies back and get on with their lives

thank you
