I am writing to inform others to NOT buy UBISOFT computer games. I'm speaking about the PC games which are entertainment software. titles/franchises such as GHOST RECON ADVANCED WARFIGHTER(GRAW), SPLINTERCELL DOUBLE AGENT(SCDA),RAINBOW6(LOCKDOWN)are prime examples of sub standard products. now cars, tires, baby cribs, baby car seats all have standards and the country has requirements of products. whe products don't live up to their user expectations or has issues that make them unfit, then the customer deserves a refund.

I have played all of said games and fail to see the unplayability or unfinished gameplay you speak of. all of them work fine on my computer other then your average graphical glitches you see with almost all games. The ONLY problem I can see with buying UBIsoft games are that they have DRM on it which makes it a pain to reinstall. nothing wrong with the software itself. Maybe you should check your computer to see if its not the error.

Ghost Recon advanced warfighter was released unfinished and crashed to the desktop often to the point of quiting play. Rainbow6 lockdown with it's console port feel and lack of tactical feel like the series was founded on. Splintercell double agent is now known to be ruined due to worse bugginess that ghost recon advanced warfighter. I beta tested ghost recon advanced warfighter and they never fixed issues. they added content but crashes STILL exist that existed at the beginning of the game 6 months now after release. UBISOFT hasn't fixed ghost recon advanced warfighter and have announced ghost reconadvanced warfighter 2. there's also a lack of response from UBISOFT to users who have challenged UBI about their apparent lack of concern with game quality and quality control. we are waiting for patch 1.35 and haven't heard squat from them about this patch. but many people have stopped buying UBISOFT games altogether. see www.ghostrecon.net and go to forums/GR:AW PC and see just how many problems people have just trying to play the game. how many have stopped playing the game due to all around garbage support by UBI and apparent lack of care to the paying customer.

Can you be more specific about how you feel they ripped you off? "it sucks" is the sort of thing that belongs at epinions. I've played several Ubisoft titles and they've all done what they said they'd do, or not do. User expectations: I can understand how reviews and advertising could lead you to have false expectations. That's an issue you should also take up with the reviewers. Advertising is what it is. Unfit: How so? Do tell. If you want your complaint to "have legs" you have to put more meat on the bones.
