I too had some headbutting conflicts with this particular Dr.,but sometimes we don't see eye to eye with a Dr. or others for that matter. We didn't choose this doctor for full time care she was just called in to take over our cases in the last minute admission to the hospital you have stated you had trouble with . I feel i could have had better care also myself, but i went to the team at the university that handles these kind of problems they did what they needed to do they spoke to me about the issues it's water under the bridge i feel let it go and maybe if your ever need to be admitted there again just ask for another doctor my whole point being don't take the time to try and ruin a doctors name on here or anyones for that matter.Sometimes people work well together and sometimes they clash this seems to be the case with a few people and this doctor ,but this site can't help fix your problem it can only put it out there to be read.if that's your goal i guess you accomplished that. anyways good luck to u and all the others that had a bad time with this doctor but my opinion is maybe just maybe in the future try a different approach maybe it'll have a better more beneficial outcome. i will continue to go to this hospital and clinic and am sure i may butt heads like you did with plenty more professionals it happens but i will not put them all over the internet along with my problem, being ill is hard enough focus on getting well, other than focusing on the negative past.. good luck to you all........hope u all had success with your treatments.

I do not agree with poster #2 i too had a bad experience with this doctor being dr leslie martin. and i too using this site am aware ripoffreport.com protects our 1st amendment right freedom of speech. so learn your facts educate yourself before you tell us how this site works for one am glad your family had a great experience ,but i too have to agree with poster #1 this doctor gave medications to my sister that she was allergic to,the doctor was told this she gave multiple medications in different classes basicly to try to dope her up to shut her up.she switched from one medication to the next didnt stick to one medicaton which to me isnt safe. so as poster #2 said about poster #1 they didnt get what they wanted NO THEY DIDN'T AND NEITHER DID WE THE PROPER CARE WE DESERVE. NO WE DID NOT GET PROPER CARE FROM DR LESLIE MARTIN. SO WE WILL NOT BE SENDING ANY THANK YOU CARD. glad to be away from this uncaring, unkind, drugpushing, overmedicating, individual.cold callous doctor treats you without a pyhsical exam she never looked at my sister at all then she treats you in a paranoid manner something isnt right with this lady in my opinion. that being said im glad my sister went on and got proper care ,and will never be subjected to this lady or hospital again.

Slander is covered in Civil Law, not Criminal Law. for the previous posters information for one,You can't be "arrested" for slander .What Are Defamation, Libel and Slander? Generally speaking, defamation is the issuance of a false statement about another person, which causes that person to suffer harm. Slander involves the making of defamatory statements by a transitory (non-fixed) representation, usually an oral (spoken) representation. Libel involves the making of defamatory statements in a printed or fixed medium, such as a magazine or newspaper. Typically, the elements of a cause of action for defamation include:
A false and defamatory statement concerning another; The unprivileged publication of the statement to a third party (that is, somebody other than the person defamed by the statement); If the defamatory matter is of public concern, fault amounting at least to negligence on the part of the publisher; and Damage to the plaintiff.
In the context of defamation law, a statement is "published" when it is made to the third party. That term does not mean that the statement has to be in print. Damages are typically to the reputation of the plaintiff, but depending upon the laws of the jurisdiction it may be enough to establish mental anguish. Most jurisdictions also recognize "per se" defamation, where the allegations are presumed to cause damage to the plaintiff. Typically, the following may consititute defamation per se:
Attacks on a person's professional character or standing; Allegations that an unmarried person is unchaste; Allegations that a person is infected with a sexually transmitted disease; While actions for defamation have their roots in common law, most jurisdictions have now enacted statutes which modify the common law. They may change the elements of the cause of action, limit when an action may be filed, or modify the defenses to an action for defamation. Some may even require that the defendant be given an opportunity to apologize before the plaintiff can seek non-economic damages.so that being said i think you should worry about your address and thank you card glad this doctor did well for you and your family ,but i too had a problem that limited my mother to the proper care so as well as the original poster no i did not get what i wanted either which was probably not proper care for my family member.
accusations and assumptions only get you so far not knowing each individuals case so i will not begin to attack you personally as you did the first poster will stay at the issue at hand and say this doctor does not focus on the patient is very cold and uncaring, unfocused, overmedicated my mother and was almost paranoid in her actions would i send anyone to her again or go to her myself NO never . i agree with the first poster this doctor is not a good doctor having civil issues against her i did look them up also and did see a medical malpractice suit is this the same person who knows names are a dime a dozen. point being first poster and myself had a bad experience with Dr leslie Martin with ourselves family members etc freedom of speech and this site is available for that reason.
2) If you look at the note, its really just a bunch of mean words, no facts. The person obviously has a personal agenda against Dr. Martin. My take is the patient didnt get something they wanted. "this is quoted by poster #2 john san diego california".
seems to me you are very in touch and defending this Dr Martin ,as if she's your friend? maybe .does poster #1 have a personal agenda against Dr Martin? as you stated .i feel youve missed this posters point and right to a complaint maybe just as i am doing, are you going to say i have an agenda also posting on my families behalf because i think this doctor is lousy?in closing thank you ripoff report for providing this site for consumers to tell our story.glad some people have a good out come to post, but feel this 2nd post was done by the person the complaint was filed about or a friend it's just obvious to us.2nd poster is a hippocrit talking about slander and you do it yourself ill post your slander for the first posters behalf 2nd poster post" If you look at the note, its really just a bunch of mean words, no facts. The person obviously has a personal agenda against Dr. Martin. My take is the patient didnt get something they wanted.
Its sad when people are so warped to hurt others to make themselves feel better. Dr. Martin worked very hard for my family members and did a fantastic job. Thank you Dr. Martin for all you did. Consider this part of the thank you card and expect to see an official one mailed to the hospital. Thanks again so much for your willingness to go out of your way for my family members. practice what you preach.....

I was "googling" Dr. Martin to find her address so I could
send her a thank you card and thats when I saw this. Dr. Martin has taken care of 2 of my family
members when they were sick and in the hospital and she did a great job. She was so caring, involved, and gave us
perfect care. I was so shocked to see
what was written here so I felt I needed to write something. Im big on justice and I would hope someone
would stand up for me if the situation was reversed.
1)
I called the California Medical board and they
confirmed what I already knew. Dr.
Martin has NEVER had ANY malpractice or lawsuits or any other negative stuff on
her record; not one! So the person who
wrote that is actually committing a crime:
slander.
