United States of America#2UPDATE EX-employee responds
Tue, February 22, 2011
Hey all.
I used to date the aforementioned service rep and worked at the costa mesa U-Haul with her.
I can honestly tell you she didn't inform you of charges because she's a clueless idiot. Kristie Payne is genuinely stupid. We worked there together for about a month before we both quit.
On a sidenote, no, U-haul does not care how they treat their customers or employees. This was some years back but IIRC the manager mightve been more willing to help you than any of the counter staff.
I worked on the trucks solely because I don't care to deal with this sort of nonsense if I don't have to.
Anyways, long story short Kristie Moulee Payne is a hapa bimbo and really, that can't be helped. I'd maybe give U-haul another shot, just not at the same location.
and don't rent any of the triton v-10 equipped trucks. they're worthless.

Uhaul implimited a new policy in August. When renting a truck on a local/round trip rental credit cards are now authorized between $75.00 - 150.00 depending on the size equipment and time you will have the equipment. When doing the rental a screen does come up advising the person to make the customer aware that their card will be authorized for xx.xx amount of money. At the time of return depending on the credit card used the authorization number obtained will either but used to process the charge or a new authorization number will be obtained. If a new number must be obtained the original authorization amount and number should fall off of your account within 7 days. If your rental was over the amount authorzied usually that authorization number is used for the original amount authroized to process the charge for that amount and a second authorization will be done for the remaining amount.
