Complaint Review: Ultimate Unity Inc; Maurice McClain President - michigan city Indiana

It is true this is a true Scam!  We ordered two magazines on June 28, 2014 for 180.00 receipt 596144

Never received anything.  All numbers to the company disconnected.  No way to reach them.  Supposedely it was to benefit inner city youth.  I am researching how to go after them legally to get my money back.  Any suggestions greatly appreciated.  Shame on this Company!  Ken Sarno

I sincerely apologize for the confusion, but the complaint is directed at the wrong Company. Maurice McClain is the President of Urban Development Solutions. No affiliation with Ultimate Solutions or any other variation of the name. Their are more programs like U.D.S but none are U.D.S. 

The magazine industry has opened doors for alot of underpriviledged youths, young adults, adults and seniors with the programs they are providing for individuals all across the nation. Needless to say that everyone does't come from the same walk of life or background. Some of society needs motivation, someone to believe in them and give them a chance or second chance for that matter, in life. Which is exactly what these programs provide.

Like any business, there will be complaints. It's how these complaints are taken care of that seperate good businesses from bad businesses. We at Urban Development Solutions take pride in our work ethic and have an integrity that we stand by. We have a zero tolerance policy and stand by correcting our mistakes where they are made.

Our receipts all have our website printed on them for tracking of orders as well as contacting our customer service department for any discrepencies that may occur. As well we have a 1-800 number for customer service, tech support, agent assistance, employment oppurtunities, etc. ( uunity.biz , urbands.com , 1-855-91URBAND )

As well our reciepts all state 90-120 days should be expected for delivery. We aren't the distributing company therefore the time frame of the deliveries are completely out of our control. If we could we would personally deliver the subscriptions to each and every one of our backers but unfortunately we can't. There is however a tracking number in the top right hand corner of each of our receipts where your purchase can be tracked through the website that is as well provided on each of our receipts.

Again I apologize for the misunderstanding but we at Urban Development Solutions is of no affiliation with Development Solutions or any other variance of our organizations name. However if you are still dissatisfied you can reach any one in our complaints department or customer service representatives at 1-855-91URBAND where we will more than gladly help in any way possible.

I thank you for your time and ask that you remove my employers name from this blog if anyway possible. I understand the mix up but these misrepresentations of our organization are stopping the original design of the program that he created for those having a hard time or needing a second chance in life. We all have needed a second chance in life at one time or another. This program is doing just that for alot of young individuals who truly need it and are growing and progressing in life because of it.

Yes, I finally got my subscription, but had to call them. Guess we fell through the cracks.

I would say that they should help their employees to focus more on future instead of the past, but just a suggestion. They should also know that selling things for which there are greater perceived demand can probably help them to be a lot more successful. It reminds me of how kids used to sell newspapers door to door, and few people actually bought newspapers anymore due to the internet.

So, maybe in addition to magazine sales, they could also try pest control sales, etc... maybe not, but just my 2 cents.

In your rip off report, did you state the time difference between where you are and Indiana where Ultimate Unity is located? No, you did not. If we were a scam, why am I responding to this rip off report? And why has your order been cancelled? The next time that you decided to get on a public medium with egregious information about a company that you know nothing about, make sure that you have all of your facts correct. What you have done is illegally slandered our name and reputation in the community.

Hello sir/mam. We are Ultimate Unity, a magazine clearing house, not Ultimate Solutions. All of the phone numbers for Ultimate Unity are in working order and have been since it's inception. On the company's website under contact us, it states the business hours. Ultimate Unity does not have a company voice mail system at this time. On the receipts, the delivery time is printed in bold letters, PLEASE ALLOW 90-120 DAYS FOR DELIVERY. You can track your orders here..www.uunity.biz. Please provide me with your receipt number and the sales date, and I will track this order. I'm sorry if you feel as though you were robbed but I can assure you, you were not. There is definitely a lack of communication here, but robbery? Ultimate Unity is just a subscription clearing house for various magazines sales organizations. If we were robbing you, I would not be responding to this rip off report. Had you went to the company's website, and contacted us thru that medium, you would have been refunded or received your order. Whichever course you would have chosen. www.urbands.com is the company website for the sales organization. I will be awaiting your response.
