In November 2011 I was hired by Alduha Sadat Safforld and UMC PI as a Lead Generator.  It was a part time position in where I would contact establishments hosting the Dec 3rd boxing pay per view event between Cotto vs Margarito and ask these establishments if there was a cover charge.  We were to identify these establishments against a Do Not Hit List which was supposed to be sent the night before the event.  If the establishments show up in this list then we would not get credit for the lead.  Compensation was supposed to be $20/hr.  Payment is supposed to be sent 45 days after the event.

On the day of the event, we still did not receive a Do Not Hit List.  The following email was sent:
______________________________________________________________________________

Good Morning,
Sorry for the delay. We are still waiting for the Do Not Hit List to update. It should become available sometime this morning. In the meantime begin calling establishments in your assigned target areas as soon as possible. Most establishments are open around noon.Your goal is to get at LEAST 12 solid leads who DO NOT appear on the  Do Not Hit List. Since the Do Not Hit list hasn't been made live as of yet your strategy should be to get as many solid leads as possible. I would strive for 40 to be on the safe side. We need the list by 5pm.

You will be compensated $400 for this assignment. I will continue to update you via email and text message to keep you updated. Please respond to this email.

I worked for 6 hours and was able to generate 43 leads.  A Do Not Hit List was sent late that day and after comparing it, only 2 leads were valid.  As stated previously, we were to be paid 45 days after the event.  The event was on Dec 3, 2011 which means I was to receive payment by January 18, 2012.

When I asked Sadat to confirm compensation in early January he stated that I was going to be paid on the hourly rate.  I forwarded the above email to him but he stated that I would have to get at least 4 leads(not on the list) to be entitled for the $400.  This was never mentioned in the above email but as I did not want to anger him, I agreed on the hourly rate.  $20 x 6hrs = $120.

January 18th came along and of course I did not receive payment.  I followed up with Sadat and he stated that did send the payment.  February came and still no check.  He has claimed that he has sent the payment 3 times from January to February but  I never received any of them.  I of course became suspicious as no mailing service can mess up 3 times sending to my address.  I live in a highly populated suburban area with the post office just 5 miles from my house and Fedex/UPS trucks running regularly throughout my development.

On Feb 20, I asked Sadat to send the payment via Fedex/UPS and send me a tracking number.  He agreed to do so only if I was willing to pay for the shipping.  I found it hard to believe that he had the audacity to actually ask me such a thing as the payment is now almost 2 months overdue.  Desperate to receive the payment, I agreed to pay for shipping.  On Feb 27th I followed up with him to send a tracking number.  He stated that payment was not sent.

Of course I was furious and sent him a very nasty email.  I claimed that he lied about send sending the previous 3 checks and questioned why he never sent tracking for any of the 3 payments he sent.  I stated that he would have incurred charges for cancelling 3 checks and the fact that it did not concern him lead me to believe that he never sent them in the first place.  I threatened to expose him for the liar he is.  He replied with the following email:

Allan, the three canceled checks total fees from the business account were $25 per transaction. So the total fee amount was $75. FedEx Express Shipment fee will be $16.60, which brings the grand total to $91.60. The funds that my business owes you is $120. If you subtract $120 from $91.60 it will leave you with $28.40. That amount will be shipped to you, as per your request, via FedEx either tonight or tomorrow morning, by 8am. Once the package have been sent, you will receive a tracking confirmation.

Now if you continue to deliver blanket emails to my business associates, I will sue you for defamation of character.

After 3 months of waiting I will not receive a payment of $28.  I would like to expose Alduha Sadat Safforld as the liar and thief that he is.  I advise no one to ever work for or with him ever!  He currently works for a charity called Autism Speaks.  I would advise to not give a penny to this man as he will most likely pocket it.
