Unified Does Management Group, Tehzah Greene Door to door magazine scam Washington District of Columbia
The two individuals were very polite, yet very pushy. They gave a sob story about trying to earn credits to further themselves. They really just need to be honest about the money they are making. They were not upfront about the cost of the magazines or the length of the subscriptions. When asked about the cost they were very evasive and would not tell me what different magazines cost. They promised a discount but did not include or even offer the discount once I said which magazines I wanted. I had to talk to a 'verifier' but they didn't ask about how the magazines were paid for, or verify any of the bank information. I think they are just there to further bury the hook and make it sound legitimate. They are currently in Colorado Springs and working through neighborhoods here. Even though they are well dressed, they almost seemed to be casing my house. They were very interested in what was inside. They did not allow for a credit card payment. I suspect that is because credit card transactions are easier to track, and easier to cancel when used for fraudulent purposes.
