I have been with Unifour Pain treatment clinic for fourteen months. I have always showed up for my appointments and med checks (pill count). On January 10 I had to place a restraining order on an ex-friend where I was staying for a few days.My medication was at this residence as well as my T.E.N.S. unit and cloths. I was not allowed to get my medication or personnel belongings until after the set court date, so I was out of my meds. I got a call from Unifour for an unscheduled med-check. I showed up to the check with a copy of the restraining order which stated the property that was being held up...my meds. They said it would be okay and made a copy of the report. They did not right me a compensating script for meds !!
Two days later I received a call from Unifour stating that they were discharging me because the report was filed on December 10 and the script was wrote on Dec. 19th and I should've had my meds.I tried to correct them on this obvious mistake on there part to no avail. Today ...March 6 my wife and I drove to Hickory Unifour (main branch) with the report,discharge letter and a positive attitude.once arriving I waited about five minutes before being approached by an employee there,She handed me a letter signed by Paul Lafavor that explained that I was discharged,the were not changing any records and that I was not to call or come in any of there offices again.
I am now without my pain medication...I have tried other facilities with no luck because of what Unifour has on my record,,,which is false information. I don't know what else to do. I really can't afford an attorney because I'm disabled and on a fixed income. Really tired ,hurting and confused.. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP !!!
