What started as a simple move of a 1-bedroom apartment from Fort Lauderdale to Raleigh turned into a nightmare.
Unique PROMISED 100% Satisfaction, but refuses to back up ANYTHING they did wrong.
They lied repeatedly about the delivery date of the furniture and belongings, and the "dispatcher" [sic] had no idea as to when his trucks were arriving / departing. He blamed the wrong information on the lady in the office, who doesn't know what is going on with the shipments (I Googled the company and discovered that lady is the PRESIDENT).
When they finally did show up about 1/2 of the boxes belonged to other customers. They weren't concerned at all about it. One of the drivers shrugged his shoulders and mentioned that they could take the things back to see who might want them! (keep them?????) Highly unethical and dishonest. Who is out there waiting for THEIR belongings?
The lady at the office, presumably the President, said that was impossible as our items had been stored in a separate area. Uh, we KNOW what belongs to us - they are terribly incompetent. We noted that the semi-trailer truck actually belonged to another carrier, but the lady said she was "in command" of those truck - another lie - she may sub to the other carriers but clearly doesn't own them, as she inferred.
I would STRONGLY urge and warn against using this company as they are a total ripoff.
