Regardless of the findings of this case, though it should be well noted that this claim is active, what consumers really need to know about the BBB, is that the it is not a governing authority that can mandate or hold a company legally accountable for its actions its job is to make information available to consumers about businesses in their communities. This business has a D+ rating for a reason, and not simply for my sole filing.
The fact is that I paid for services for my minor child and after numerous attempts to resolve this matter amicably, the only thing in over nine months I have received is excuse after excuse as to why I have not received what I paid for.
There are actions for those like myself who have been financially defrauded by this or any company to take that will hold the company/owners legally accountable:
File a claim with the Attorney Generals Office
https://www.oag.state.tx.us/forms/cpd/form.php
File a claim with the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection
https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
Write to the Licensing and Regulation board
[email protected]
( Note that talent and modelling are no longer regulated as they once were, which is why companies like this are able to open shop quickly)
The more valid complaints presented could bring regulation.
Civil Litigation and/or small claims
http://www.dallascounty.org/department/jpcourts/3-1/start.php
Many suits must be brought within 2 years after the dispute arose, others must be brought within 4 years. To be safe, you should file suit as soon as you are convinced you cannot recover the money on your own,
and before 2 years have gone by.

Though the BBB can not enforce legal actions, it does provide consumers accurate information about a business.
Do become informed before signing anything, read the FTC facts for consumers brochure titled
"If You've Got The Look, Look Out" Avoid Modelling Scams before signing anything with any company
-Never prepay for services including photo services
-Avoid companies who designate their own or a specific photographer
-Avoid paying the talent or modelling company for outside services such as photography, etc
-Take Action! If you have been defrauded, take action file with the respective agencies, what may take minutes of time to file, may refund your money and save others.

Denise Bring continues to post fabricated information about my company across the internet under a variety of names. However, she also filed a complaint with the BBB of Dallas. Both parties presented information and documents in support their position. After several reviews of the information, the BBB ruled as follows with a response to Ms. Bring.
Complaint ID#: 91236393
Business Name: Unistar Talent
You have indicated from your Customer Response that you were not satisfied
with the Company Answer in your complaint case. Because of this, we have
conducted a case review which includes all of the available
documentation contained within the Original Complaint, the Company
Answer and the Customer Response.
Based on our review, we have concluded that the company did all that it could have been reasonably
expected to or reasonably responsible to do to resolve the issue. The
reasons for this conclusion are listed in the comments sections in the
link provided below. The case is being closed as Administratively Judged
Resolved and this case closure will be summarized as such on our report
on the company, as is our standard procedure, for 36 months after the
above date.

Ms. Bring has posted numerous negative post on the internet at various sites using various names. The information in this complaint and others is a complete fabrication. She also filed the same complaint with the Dallas BBB, but after an investigation they found that my company had honored the contract, provided her an extensive photo shoot with electronic photos, comp cards and castings opportunities, etc. as agreed. It is unfortunate that she resulted in malicious acts of this sort in the public domain.
