Hi Michelle, Sorry to hear you are having troubles with UACC. 1. UACC didn't sell you the CAR, the dealership did and this is an issue you need to take up with the dealership. Check and see because I think Illinois has LEMON LAW. 2. I am a UACC survivor as well and I am going to strongly suggest you go to the www.fdic.gov website and read your rights. 3. They can not CHARGE you more money for the car. However, they CAN charge you a late fee. 4. Remember, UACC is a SUBPRIME-BOTTOM FEEDING Auto loan company. If your payment is due on the 1st, and its not in their office on the 1st, be prepared for all sorts of abuse. 5. Just because the car is malfunctioning, does not exclude you from paying your car note... But.. again, I can not stress enough... KNOW YOUR RIGHTS because they assume that all of their clients are uneducated bottome feeders like them.
