For all of you who like me were sceptical of this offer I can now say don't fall prey to these companies and there were more. On November 2nd, 2008 I received a call from a telemarketing company called Gold Coast in Phx, Arz (PH# 626-259-5579) Emp #30225. I wrote down as much info as I could during the initial conversation. He offer a free $300 gas card for trying out two programs to save me money at $1.95 each. Even though I was not interested, I asked right away do I have to cancel within 30 day and of course, he said I didn't. So I let him continue at which time I was transferred to another person for verification purposes, and then a third person who gave me my pkg# and Cust# along with the following numbers to call after my 7 day review. United Benefits 866-239-6788 and National Roadside Assurance 866-886-7695. Of course, he wanted to enroll me in other packages as well but by now I had become aggitated and was asked just to say "no" or "yes". Which by now was all "NO". The Indian sounding voice quickly finished the interview along with my information. At the very end he wanted to know my date of birth which I refuse to give to anyone (as should you or your SSN).

Well, the next morning I checked my CC and found the two charges from ID Theft and Buyers Club for $1.95. OKay, I finally received the information on November 9th, 2008, opened it on the 10th and immediately called the numbers on the page UBA 866-251-7975 & NRA 866-680-5518, but they were always busy everytime I called. Monday and Tuesday still couldn't get through, so today Wed November 12th I checked my CC and BOOM there were charges for $49.33 & $29.97 and Immediately contacted my credit cord company to disbute the charges and get the ph# that were used in the transaction ID Theft 866-488-2478 & Buyers Club 866-680-5520. I was then transfered to the dispute dept. All charges have been reverse and I need to fill out a response. By the way, the numbers from my CC are still busy. So I did a little research and found out Consumer Benefit Services, Inc provides all the services at 630-420-6200 which I just got off the phone with who some how got through to Wanda who will now officially cancel these two charges as soon as I fax 954-312-0323 with a copy of the postmark on the envelopes I received. Luckily for me this happened only after contacting CBS, Inc and 7 days have not lapsed since the postmark date. If you are reading this within the 7 days to cancel call Consumer Benefit Services, Inc customer service. God Help us all in the fight against these pretetors.

While the companies are not the biggest problem it's the phone solicitors. Today after many words this solicitor says I have your credit card number here. Which I gave way back when and he charged my cc $1.00 without my permission. These people have called and called and I have told them never to call me again. I wrote down the last two numbers (714-607-5759 & 310-599-9199). Beware of these people!!! I had to cancel my credit card. I just wish there was a government agency to track down these people faster. i tried a reverse lookup but i don't want to pay money to find out who they are (unlisted). So anyone with resources to do that those r just 2 of the many numbers they use.

Our customer service center is designed only to receive calls from members using our benefit services. We are not a telemarketing company and we do not make outbound sales calls.
