I was sucked into this company thinking it was real health insurance. It wasn't even close to insurance. When you try to get the information that you paid for no one will talk to you. Their customer service department is a joke. Stay way from this company. I was desparate for insurance because I need back surgery. You can imagine how upset I was when I had to reschedule my surgery date twice and still didn't get covered, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously.

Sorry you got suckered Kris. I've lived with my back pain for many years and know what it's like. It's a crime that all you want is relief and to ease your mind, then some scumbag company pulls the rug out from under you.

I'm rather lucky, in that respect, I have my "government cheese" health care here. A recent surgery and recovery I went through, once you add all the tests (CAT scans, flouroscopy, etc), cost of the hospital bed (a month and 3/4 stay), all the drugs (delicious morphine, Demerol and Dilaudid) and the other various stuff, my stay would have cost me close to about $800,000 or more. All paid for. And I didn't have to d**k around with an insurance adjuster or anything.

However, all that said, I think you've got a valuable lesson under your belt: Make sure you check any insurance agent out thoroughly before signing on and giving them your hard earned dollars. It's something everyone should do with any type of insurance too; house, car, health, life...

In this way you can catch the bad apples before you get screwed and, perhaps more important, tip off the government at the same time because you're making the inquiry and someone will notice at that level.

Hope you get both justice and your back pain alleviated. Best of luck.

I just found out from the insurance commissioner of Wisconsin that this rip-off company is not even licensed to sell insurance in Wisconsin. They are not sure if they can help me but I am filling out a report and sending them copies of everything I have so they can get me to the right authority. Get this- their call center called me to send information. Boy did they get an ear full!!!! Beware of this company.
